Darius는 최근 프랑스 디스코 하우스계의 움직임을 최초로 주도하였으며 Roche musique에서 가장 신나고 젊은 재능을 가진 멤버로 손꼽힌다. 그는 보통 디스코와 펑크에서 보여지는 점점 상승하는 분위기에 언더그라운드 특유의 복잡한 요소를 가미하는 것으로 유명하다. 그리고 이러한 특별한 사운드를 “Darius touch”라고 일컫는다.
그의 첫번째 EP였던 Velour의 엄청난 트랙 Maliblue뿐 만 아니라 Bondax와 Jesse Ware 등의 아티스트 리믹스는 큰 성공을 거두며 그 이후에도 Darius는 EP Romance와 “Hot Hands”로 여전한 인기를 누리고 있다. 최근에는 그의 세번째 EP Helios를 공개하기도 했다. 우리는 Darius의 첫 내한공연을 진심으로 환영한다.

Darius is an inaugural player in the recent French disco house movement and one of the most exciting young talents out of the Roche musique crew. Known for adding a certain underground intricacy to the usual uplifting style of disco and funk, his distinctive sound has been called the “Darius touch”. Blowing up on the back of the huge Maliblue track off his first Ep, Velour, as well as a remixes of artists from Bondax to Jesse Ware, he followed it up with the romance EP and the song “Hot Hands” and recently released his third EP, Helios. We are pleased to welcome Darius for his first time in Korea.
