LOUISAHHH ( Bromance/ NYC)
LOUISAHHH는 디제잉에 대한 열정을 발견하기 전 어린 나이로 노래와 악기 연주를 시작했다. 17살부터 가짜 신분증으로 뉴욕의 클럽들을 몰래 다니면서 LOUISAHHH(기뻐서 나오는 함성이나 비명으로 고른 이름)는 단단하면서도 깊은, 거칠면서도 부드러운 스타일을 갈고 닦았다.


2006년 그녀는 하우스 중심의 프로덕션 듀오인 NYCPARTYINFO의 하나가 되어 Throne of Blood, Nurvous, Young Adults와 함께 음반을 발표하였다. 그러나 그녀의 친구 Danny Daze가 그의 소속된 Senor Stereo를 위해 보컬을 부탁했고, 그때서야LOUISAHHH의 가수로서의 끼가 빛을 보기 시작하였으며, 딥 하우스 차트를 석권한 'Your Everything’이라는 모던한 클래식으로 더 큰 유명세를 얻었다.


이 흥분의 도가니 속에서, Brodinski라는 프렌치 테크노의 신예와의 운명적인 만남이 우정으로 급속도로 성장하였고, 결국 Brodinski의 Bromance 레이블에서의 첫 음반 발표였던 'Let the Beat Control Your Body’에서 LOUISAHHH는 “날 것 그대로의 힘, 무아지경, 벗어나라, 망설이지 마라. 그리고 박자에 몸을 맡겨라.” 같은 명령을 중얼거린다. 'Nobody Rules the Streets’ 역시 피크 시간대의 주제가가 되었는데, 이러한 딥 하우스와 뉴 테크노 양쪽 영역에서 보여준 강렬한 보컬 콜라보를 통해, LOUISAHHH는 그녀의 제작 실력을 세계적으로 알릴 준비가 되었음을 확인시켜주었다.

LOUISAHHH가 Bromance 레코드에서 발표한 첫 번째 굉장한 솔로 EP는 2013년 4월에 공개되었다. 그 이후, Maelstrom ('Traces' and 'Friction’)과의 강력한 협업은 비평가와 댄스플로어의 사람들에게 동시에 환영받았고 그들이 함께 한 결과물은 '테크노 장인들을 위한 펑크 레이블 혹은 펑크를 위한 테크노 레이블’이라고 스스로 말하는 RAAR라는 회사를 시작할 수 있는 자극제가 되었다. 초기의 발표작들은 그 듀오 뿐만 아니라 Black Asteroid, Dave Clarke, Mr Jones가 소속된 ‘Roijacker’와의 작업도 포함된다.

작년 Bromance에서 발표한 LOUISAHHH의 두 번째 솔로 EP 'Shadow Work’는 사람들의 갈채를 받은 바 있다. 대단한 기교로 중무장한 다이내믹하고 감성적이면서 거친 DJ 셋으로 LOUISAHHH는 ‘살아있음에 가슴이 떨린다는’ 좌우명과 이를 능동적으로 표현하여 그녀의 음악을 지속적으로 만들어내고 있다.

LOUISAHHH started singing and playing instruments at an early age before discovering a passion for DJing. Starting at age 17, sneaking into New York City clubs with fake IDs, LOUISAHHH(a name chosen 'as a war cry or a shriek of delight') has since honed a style that is hard but deep, tough but tender.
In 2006, LOUISAHHH became half of house-centric production duo NYCPARTYINFO, releasing records with Throne of Blood, Nurvous and Young Adults. However, it wasn't until friend Danny Daze requested some vocals for his group Senor Stereo that LOUISAHHH's talents as a singer began to shine, gaining more notoriety as modern classic 'Your Everything' climbed the deep house charts.

Amidst this whirlwind of excitement, a fateful meeting of French techno wonderkind, Brodinski spiraled into a fast friendship and eventual collaboration for Brodinski's young label, Bromance Records. On 'Let the Beat Control Your Body’, Brodinski’s first Bromance label release, LOUISAHHH purrs commands like “Raw power, ecstasy. Liberate, don’t hesitate. And let the beat control your body.” 'Nobody Rules the Streets' also became peak-time anthems, and with these explosive vocal collaborations in the realms of both deep house and new techno, LOUISAHHH was getting ready to release her own productions into the world.

LOUISAHHH's first serious solo EP on Bromance records was released in April, 2013. More recently, powerful collaborations with Maelstrom ('Traces' and 'Friction') have been greeted warmly by critics and dance floors alike and their work together has inspired them to start a label, RAAR, a self described 'punk label for techno heads or a techno label for punks'. First releases will include work from the duo, in addition to Black Asteroid, Dave Clarke and Mr Jones as 'Roijacker',

Last year announced LOUISAHHH's acclaimed second solo EP, 'Shadow Work' on Bromance. Supported by dynamic, emotional, ferocious DJ sets rife with technical finesse, LOUISAHHH maintains that 'she is thrilled to be alive', and that her music is an active expression of this.
